The home supports children and young people with Learning Disabilities and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, providing a smaller, nurturing environment where therapeutic care can flourish.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the service, while working within a collaborative organisation that values reflective practice, continuous learning and professional development.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will provide strong leadership and oversight of the home, ensuring children receive high-quality, therapeutic and individualised care.
You will:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children's home
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment
Champion trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
Lead, support and develop the staff team
Promote reflective practice and a culture of continuous learning
Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding are maintained
Work collaboratively with practitioners, professionals and external agencies
Build strong relationships with the wider professional network supporting the children
Ensure the service operates in line with relevant regulatory and professional standards
Drive positive outcomes for children and young people
About You
We welcomes applications from both experienced Registered Managers and Assistant Managers within residential children's services who are ready to take the next step in their career.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience working within a residential children's setting
Experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities and/or emotional and behavioural needs
A genuine commitment to trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
Strong leadership and communication skills
A passion for creating safe and nurturing environments for children
The ability to work collaboratively with professionals and external agencies
A commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is required, or you must be willing to complete this within the first two years of employment.
This role is subject to a successful Enhanced DBS Check.
