You don't need to have worked in exactly this type of role before. The client is open to candidates from a range of engineering, project, commercial and technical backgrounds. You'll receive full training and support, with a genuine opportunity to develop your career into Project Management or a broader commercial/project role.
The Role
You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from the initial enquiry and quotation through to project completion. Approximately 60% of your time will involve project management and coordination, with the remaining 40% focused on quotations, proposals and commercial activity.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating engineering projects from order through to completion
- Working with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Preparing technical quotations, estimates and proposals
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and timescales
- Coordinating materials, resources and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
- Maintaining accurate project and commercial documentation
- Supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Identifying and resolving issues as projects progress
- Working closely with the wider engineering and commercial teams

You might be looking for your first step into Project Management, or simply want a role with more responsibility and career progression.
You'll ideally have:
- Some experience working with projects, engineering, construction or technical products
- Good organisational and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- A commercial and practical approach
- Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- A willingness to learn and develop
Experience within water treatment is not essential. Candidates from engineering, manufacturing, construction, mechanical, electrical, industrial or other technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
