Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Salary: Up to £36,137.50 per annum

This role operates across two Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, covering mental health services and community healthcare. You will be supporting a varied estate of over 120 sites that provide round-the-clock patient care.

As a Building Maintenance Plumber, you will work in a dedicated team and undertake the planned and reactive maintenance across our client premises, Kent and Medway NHS Trusts. In this role, you will be responsible for the planned maintenance of the building engineering services ensuring compliance with the specifications, schedules and procedures, ensuring that all communication channels are utilised to keep both the client and company informed.

We are looking for someone to achieve a prompt and effective response to emergency situations, who will be capable of diagnosing faults and initiating action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within the premises. Liaising with specialist sub-contractors and engineers from other disciplines, you will ensure the efficient operation of the client's site to minimise difficulties with the building environmental systems.

As a Building Maintenance Plumber, we are looking for:

  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 Plumbing or Heating or Building services C&G
  • Ability to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance services as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Valid UK Driving licence is essential
