Create exceptional food in an extraordinary setting. Graysons is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at the prestigious Leeds Castle. Working across a diverse catering operation, you'll help deliver outstanding food experiences for weddings, conferences, hospitality events, private dining and visitor catering. You'll take ownership of your section, support junior chefs, and help maintain the exceptional standards that our guests expect.
The role:
- As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for managing your section and ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to company standards
- Supporting catering operations across multiple outlets and events
- Managing mise en place and maintaining section readiness
- Monitoring stock levels and minimising waste
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Mentoring and supporting Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants
- Working closely with senior chefs to deliver smooth and efficient service
About you:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to progress
- Passion for fresh, seasonal food
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days
