We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of a Female Community Care Worker/Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team here at Seren Support. If you are looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.
Working hours each week: We offer hours from 16 hours per week to Full Time hours.
Location: Bridgend, Maesteg, Porthcawl
Pay rate: £13.45 per hour PLUS:
- Bank Holiday - Enhanced rate
- Mileage 0.40 ppm
- Hours 7am-3pm and/or 3pm-11pm

Who are we?
We have been providing care and support services since 2011, helping individuals live their life as independently as possible. Our service is designed to provide care in the comfort of our service users' own homes, always maintaining dignity, respect and promoting independence.
Key responsibilities:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Essential criteria:
- Positive person.
- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to be a team player.
- Professional manner at all times.
- Friendly attitude towards all staff and clients.
- Your own car.
- Able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
Please note - people do NOT need experience in care for this role. We are very much interested in your values as a person and we provide excellent training for all staff.
