An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager to lead the ongoing development and continuous improvement of Quality and Environmental Management Systems within a successful manufacturing business. This role is responsible for maintaining ISO compliance, driving sustainability initiatives, improving customer satisfaction and embedding a culture of operational excellence across multiple manufacturing sites.
Who Would This Role Suit?
This position would suit an experienced Quality or QHSE professional from a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. You will be confident leading audits, driving continuous improvement, influencing stakeholders at every level and delivering environmental and sustainability initiatives including carbon reduction, waste minimisation and recycling programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, maintain and continually improve the Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring ongoing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits, monitor compliance with legislation and best practice, and provide performance reporting to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI management, customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis and cross-functional improvement projects.
- Lead sustainability initiatives including carbon reduction, waste reduction, recycling and wider environmental improvement programmes aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver Quality and Environmental training, chair review meetings and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent standards across all departments.
Skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience with Quality & Environmental within Manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Strong systems experience with QMS/IMS
- Ability to lead and work autonomously
- Full Driving Licence
Location: Macclesfield

Salary: c £50k - £55k (dependent on experience) + Benefits.
Working hours: 0800 - 1700, Monday - Friday, with flexibility
