The Opportunity
We are currently working with a growing law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with a strong background in Employers Liability, Public Liability and Occupiers Liability work who is confident managing their own caseload and taking matters through to conclusion. The Role
- You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of OL/EL/PL claims, providing clients with clear legal advice and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently from initial instruction through to settlement or Trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of OL/EL/PL personal injury claims.
- Handling claims arising from workplace, public liability and occupiers liability accidents.
- Taking ownership of matters from inception through to settlement and, where required, Trial.
- Providing high-quality legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensuring clients receive an excellent level of service throughout their claim.
- Progressing files efficiently and managing deadlines effectively.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant case records.
- Using case management systems to manage and progress matters.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues while managing your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
About You
- The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years PQE as a Personal Injury Solicitor, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong experience across OL/EL/PL claims.
- The ability to manage claims through the full lifecycle, including Trial.
- A good understanding of Personal Injury law and claims procedures.
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and time-management abilities.
- Confidence managing a caseload independently.
- Good IT skills and experience using legal case management systems.
- Proclaim experience is advantageous but not essential.
