BizTalk Developer required, with strong EDI and Middleware experience, based near Macclesfield, paying £45,000 to £50,000 - Hybrid
This is a rare opportunity to join a business at the exact moment it is modernising its integration platform, giving you genuine influence over what comes next, rather than simply maintaining what already exists. You will work closely with an experienced technical team, gain hands on exposure to a full platform migration, and build skills that will serve you long after BizTalk itself is retired. The role offers real variety, moving between hands on delivery, client facing conversations, and forward looking project work, alongside a clear path to grow your EDI and Middleware expertise across a modern, low code platform.
Our client is an established manufacturing group with a strong UK presence, working closely with suppliers and trading partners through structured data exchange as a core part of daily operations, supporting a substantial user base across the business.
As BizTalk Developer, you will manage multiple concurrent customer onboardings, joining client meetings to discuss EDI requirements before planning and delivering to agreed schedules. You will pick up and resolve EDI support tickets as they arise, and be closely involved in the wider project to replace BizTalk with a new low code integration platform, eventually rebuilding current integrations within it and supporting the new product going forward.
This role has come about as the business begins retiring its BizTalk platform over the next year, creating a genuine opportunity for someone to shape and own that transition from the ground up, rather than simply inheriting legacy technology.
Roles like this, offering real platform change and long term EDI and Middleware growth, do not come up often. If you want to be part of shaping what comes next rather than maintaining what came before, apply today.
