About the Role CNC Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing specialist vehicle conversion business, for an enthusiastic and skilled Campervan Conversion Technician to join their workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in the motorhome, campervan or caravan industry to join a growing business where there is scope to develop your skills and take on additional responsibility.
Key Responsibilities Carry out campervan and vehicle conversion work to a high standard.
Diagnose, fault-find and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Work as part of a small, friendly and fast-paced workshop team.
Communicate professionally with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Be willing to learn and develop new skills as the business grows.
Support colleagues across the workshop when required.
Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience working within the campervan, motorhome or caravan industry .
Practical experience of vehicle conversions and associated installation work.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A positive, hands-on approach to work.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role.
Desirable Experience Previous supervisory or people management experience.
Experience taking responsibility for workshop tasks or supporting junior team members.
Additional Information Occasional weekend working may be required.
This is a permanent, full-time, workshop-based position .
Applicants should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment and dealing directly with customers.
