As our Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in attracting and appointing outstanding people who make a real difference to the lives of the individuals we support. Working as part of our friendly Recruitment and Onboarding team, you'll support the full recruitment lifecycle and partner with our managers to ensure we continue to build strong, skilled and values led teams across our children's and adult services.
The Vacancy
Bright Futures Care is a specialist organisation supporting young people and adults with Autism and Learning Difficulties, including complex communication, sensory, and behavioural needs. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and education in high-quality environments, supported by passionate and skilled teams.
You will be responsible for managing recruitment activity across our adult and children's homes and schools, providing a professional and engaging experience for candidates while ensuring managers receive effective and timely recruitment support.
You will build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, use recruitment data and insight to improve outcomes, and act as a positive ambassador for Bright Futures throughout the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment for adult and children's homes and schools, from job posting to offer stage.
Build strong relationships with candidates, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the process.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
Maintain and optimise our Applicant Tracking System and recruitment channels.
Support a positive and consistent candidate experience through the recruitment process
Use data and insights to refine recruitment strategies and improve outcomes.
Represent Bright Futures professionally, promoting our values, behaviours and culture.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment processes and ways of working
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an organised, proactive and relationship-focused recruitment professional who is passionate about finding the right people for the right roles
You will have:
Proven experience as an in-house recruiter or working within a recruitment environment.
Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Experience using job-boards and recruitment platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers, delivering an excellent recruitment experience throughout the process.
A commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
Experience recruiting within the care, health, education or social care sector is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
HR/Recruitment qualifications desirable.
Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
