Role OverviewTo provide installation, maintenance and servicing of fire safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European Standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day to day installation, planned and reactive maintenance of contracts
- Carry out any remedial works as required
- Install replacement and additional equipment
- Assist in the training of apprentices as required
- On occasions may be required to support with servicing and call outs during the day
- Act at all times in a professional and diligent manner, considering the needs of the client
- A background from the Fire Engineering sector
- 17th or 18th Edition Qualification
- Experience and understanding of British & FIRAS Standards is essential
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification or experience in a social housing or construction environment is desirable
- Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266
- Driving License as some of our sites are very remote
