In this role, you will play a key part in the overhaul and repairs of HV equipment, including switchgear, transformers, structural steelwork, and control panels. The role involves hands-on electrical repairs such as cable installation and terminations, earthing and bonding, and supporting testing and re-commissioning activities.
This role would suit an HV Engineer or similar looking for a varied role within a well-established substation company who offer personal development, training and progression within a growing, expanding business.
The Role:- Remedials of high voltage electrical systems, equipment and components including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables and related equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other team members to execute projects, troubleshoot issues and ensure the efficient operation of high voltage electrical systems.
- Background as a HV Engineer or similar.
- Experience in power stations, solar or similar.
- UK driving license.
