The Role - Wellbeing Support Worker - 20HPW or Bank
We are recruiting experienced Carers to join our Wellbeing Support Team. This role provides flexible, zero-hours work to support:
- Annual leave cover
- Sickness cover
- Increased client demand
This position will be reviewed regularly and may lead to a permanent or full-time role as our client base grows. You will support individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support
- Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and mobility support
- Promote emotional wellbeing, companionship, and independence
- Support medication in line with training and care plans
- Follow individualised care plans, risk assessments, and guidance
- Maintain accurate records and communicate concerns appropriately
- Uphold safeguarding, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in care is essential
- Home care / domiciliary experience preferred
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in the community
- Right to work in the UK
- No sponsorship available for this role.
DBS Requirements:
- Transferable Enhanced DBS preferred. If a transferable DBS is not held, the applicant will be required to fund the cost of a new Enhanced DBS, which will be processed by James Signature Care. The DBS fee will be refunded upon successful completion of the probationary period.
