£40,000 - £50,000 | Leicestershire Office with UK Wide Travel

£40k - £50k + overtime at time & a third

40 hours per week, no weekend working

Field-based role approx. 70% UK travel / time away from home

Core focus on installation, with commissioning and service work forming a smaller part of the position.

Industrial emissions systems (SCR) for marine & industrial applications

This is a hands-on field installation role, working on industrial sites across the UK, installing emissions systems used on generators, engines and heavy plant.

What you'll be doing as a Multi-Skilled Fitter:

  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical installation work on industrial equipment and systems
  • Installing and assembling components using engineering drawings and installation packs
  • Supporting equipment commissioning, testing, snagging and fault finding on customer sites
  • Working with pipework, containment, brackets, panels and associated mechanical assemblies
  • Assisting with workshop assembly and preparation when not on site
  • Travelling to customer sites across the UK to complete installation projects

Your background as a Multi-Skilled Fitter:

  • Background in mechanical fitting, electrical installation, site engineering or field service
  • Experience installing, assembling or maintaining industrial machinery, plant or process equipment
  • Multi-skilled with a good mechanical aptitude and basic electrical installation knowledge
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Happy working on customer sites with regular UK travel and occasional nights away
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a strong focus on quality and safety

This Multi-Skilled Fitter role is commutable from Leicester, Loughborough, Coalville, Nuneaton, Burton Upon Trent, Nottingham, Derby & surrounding areas.
