As a Waiter you will deliver friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service to members and guests. This is a dynamic role where you will work across different areas of the restaurant, supporting service, hosting, drinks and guest interaction - ensuring every experience is smooth, welcoming and memorable.
About Nettle: Nettle is a rooftop restaurant at The Conduit in Covent Garden, led by the British landscape and guided by the seasons. We honour nature's ingredients by transforming exceptional produce from across the British Isles into thoughtful, unexpected dishes. Our approach celebrates craftsmanship, provenance and hospitality, creating memorable experiences for members and guests alike.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage members and guests in a warm and professional manner
- Deliver attentive, knowledgeable and efficient table service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, including allergen awareness
- Make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu knowledge
- Monitor the guest experience and respond proactively to needs
- Handle payments and present bills accurately
- Work across different areas of the restaurant (section service, hosting, drinks, coffee, etc.)
- Support smooth day-to-day service, including opening and closing duties
- Assist with preparing the restaurant for service (polishing, setting, restocking)
- Maintain clean, organised FOH and BOH areas
- Support team members during busy service periods
- Develop strong knowledge of menus, ingredients and seasonal changes
- Be confident discussing food, drinks and the story behind the product
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service at all times
- Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house teams
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and professional environment
- Be open to learning, feedback and ongoing development
- Represent the values of Nettle, The Conduit and Levy.
Experience in a similar front of house or hospitality role preferred.
