An international banking institution is seeking a Treasury Business Management Analyst to support its Treasury function. This role combines business management, operational support, data analysis, and project coordination responsibilities within a fast-paced Treasury environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury traders, business managers, and internal stakeholders to help ensure efficient operations, strong governance, and effective management reporting across Treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Management
    • Support the implementation and execution of Treasury business management processes in line with internal policies and procedures.
    • Assist with the maintenance and management of departmental procedures, trader mandates, onboarding and offboarding activities, budgets, and expense monitoring.
    • Produce management information (MI), business performance reports, and analytical insights.
    • Support counterparty and third-party management activities.
    • Maintain product inventories, trading data records, and related reports.
    • Assist with internal audits, regulatory reviews, inspections, and governance requirements.
  • Treasury Operations Support
    • Provide operational support to Treasury trading activities following established controls and procedures.
    • Assist with trade authorization processes and operational governance requirements.
    • Coordinate legal documentation execution and agreement management.
    • Support system access administration and parameter setup activities.
    • Monitor and report operational risk events and trading-related incidents.
    • Perform end-of-day controls and reconciliations.
    • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of Treasury processes.
  • Project Support
    • Participate in Treasury-related projects and strategic initiatives.
    • Support system enhancements, testing activities, and process improvement programmes.
    • Assist with Treasury business development initiatives, events, and departmental projects as required.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Experience within Treasury, trading operations, middle office, or a related banking environment.
    • Strong understanding of Treasury trading workflows, operational controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Knowledge of Treasury and financial markets products, including: Foreign Exchange (FX), Bonds and Fixed Income, Money Markets, Derivatives.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong analytical and data management skills.
    • Experience producing management information and business reporting.
    • Familiarity with Treasury systems and data analysis tools.
  • Education
    • Degree educated in a relevant discipline.
    • Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications would be advantageous.
  • Languages
    • Fluent English communication skills.
    • Mandarin language skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
  • Personal Attributes
    • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
