Were looking for a Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Nuneaton site.

Pay, benefits and more: Were looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.

What youll do on a typical day: To cost effectively plan and dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.

To review the cost effectiveness of routes through KPI analysis, taking remedial action where necessary To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub-contractors minimising the cost impact to the business To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets What you need to succeed at XPO: Working knowledge of driver hours regulations Good geographical knowledge of the UK Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements Financial Understanding Operational understanding of team roles We strive to create an inclusive environment for all our colleagues, where everyone feels welcomed, empowered and where you can bring your true self to work.
