SITS StuTalk Developers urgently needed to join a leading Higher Education organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This role will focus heavily on SITS StuTalk development and system integrations, supporting the delivery and maintenance of data interfaces between SITS and third-party applications. The successful candidate will need strong hands-on experience developing and supporting StuTalk solutions, rather than general SITS support alone.

Scope:

  • Develop, maintain and support SITS StuTalk interfaces
  • Build and support integrations between SITS and third-party systems
  • Work with student records data and configuration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues
  • Support ongoing enhancements and improvements to the SITS environment

Essential Skills:

  • Strong SITS StuTalk development experience (essential)
  • SITS development experience
  • PL/SQL experience
  • Java or experience with another programming language
  • Experience working with data configuration within enterprise applications
  • Experience with system integrations and data interfaces

Desirable Experience:

  • Higher Education sector experience
  • HTML knowledge
  • Experience with source control tools (Git, SVN, SourceSafe or similar)
  • Exposure to Linux or Windows server environments

Important: This role requires proven StuTalk development experience. Candidates with SITS experience only, without StuTalk and integration development experience, are unlikely to be suitable.

6 months initially. Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35) - May be flexible for the right candidate. Remote with ideally 1 day per week on site/may be flexibility for the right candidate.
