Are you an experienced GTM Recruitment Consultant who enjoys winning business, building relationships and still being hands-on with your desk? We're working with a high-performing Technology & GTM recruitment business that is looking to hire a Principal Consultant to become the #2 within its growing GTM division.
This is a genuine opportunity to join a business with strong market credibility, an established client base and significant scope to build something of your own.
The Opportunity
The GTM function is already performing well, but as the current GTM Director steps up to take responsibility for the wider London Tech & GTM business, there is a clear opportunity for a senior recruiter to come in and become their right hand. You'll inherit existing clients, live vacancies and an established market presence, meaning you're not walking into a blank sheet of paper. The focus is predominantly the vendor-led Software / SaaS market, working with high-growth and established technology businesses across their commercial hiring requirements. This is a hands-on 360 recruitment role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and develop new business across the GTM / Technology / Software & SaaS market
- Leverage your existing black book and network to open doors with senior commercial stakeholders
- Develop relationships with CEOs, CROs, Sales Directors, Commercial Directors and other senior GTM leaders
- Take ownership of the full 360 recruitment process, from business development through to delivery and placement
- Inherit and grow an existing portfolio of clients and live roles
- Build a repeatable and scalable BD strategy to grow the GTM division
- Work closely with the GTM Director to shape the future direction of the function
- Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities and C-suite roundtables
Who We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience recruiting within GTM, Sales, Commercial, SaaS, Software or Technology
- A strong business development track record and demonstrable ability to win new clients
- An established network across technology vendors or SaaS businesses
- A genuinely consultative approach to recruitment and client development
- The ambition to progress into leadership, or experience leading others whilst remaining commercially hands-on
- The confidence to operate at C-suite and senior stakeholder level
Why Join?
This isn't simply another senior recruiter vacancy. You'll be joining a business that is performing exceptionally well, with the opportunity to play a significant role in its next stage of growth.
- Competitive basic salary + uncapped commission
- Existing clients and live roles from day one
- Opportunity to build and grow the GTM division
- Clear route into team leadership and management
- Work alongside an established GTM leader with 12+ years' experience and an exceptional C-suite network
- Exposure to senior technology leaders through CEO/CRO roundtables and industry events
- Hybrid working, 3 days in the London office
- Private healthcare
- Gym membership
- International incentive trips for top performers
- Strong senior leadership team and genuine investment in people
The Bigger Picture
The current GTM Director has spent over a decade building relationships across the Software and SaaS market and regularly brings together senior leaders from some of the biggest technology businesses in the market. You'll be joining at exactly the right point to complement that network, with the immediate opportunity to build your own relationships and clients into the business.
If you're a successful GTM recruiter who wants more ownership, more influence and the opportunity to build something rather than simply inherit a desk, this could be a very interesting next step. Apply now for a confidential conversation.
