We're seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Automation Engineer to join a large-scale digital programme, helping shape and deliver modern mobile testing practices across multiple product teams.

Working closely with senior engineering and quality stakeholders, you'll play a key role in driving testing excellence, defining automation strategy, and ensuring high-quality mobile experiences across both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement mobile automation testing strategies.
  • Build, maintain and improve scalable automation frameworks.
  • Drive quality engineering best practice across multiple teams.
  • Deliver automated end-to-end, integration, regression and API testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts and product stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor other testers within the team.
  • Champion continuous improvement across testing tools, processes and approaches.
  • Influence engineering teams to adopt effective testing and quality practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Strong commercial experience in mobile test automation.
  • Proven experience testing both iOS and Android applications.
  • Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
  • API testing experience.
  • End-to-end testing experience within agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Technical Environment

Experience with some or all of the following would be advantageous:

Contract Details
  • Day Rate: £450 per day
  • IR35 Status: Outside IR35
  • Contract Length: Initial contract through to 31 December 2026
  • Location: Predominantly remote, with occasional travel to London as required
  • Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
  • Interview Process: Single-stage video interview
