The Opportunity:

We are partnering with a well-established UK clothing brand to recruit a Senior Creative Services Manager. This newly created leadership role combines two existing positions and offers the opportunity to shape the brand's creative direction, develop ways of working and lead a talented multidisciplinary team. With no Creative Director above the role, it offers significant autonomy and operates at a level similar to a Head of Creative.

The Role:

You will lead the creative services function, managing three direct reports, all managers across PR, Content, Retail Marketing and Production. You will also provide direction to a wider team of dotted-line reports across creative, content, marketing and production. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the brand's creative output is consistent, engaging and commercially effective across all customer touchpoints. You will be needed for the creative vision and direction on photoshoots too; a hands-on and strategic mix.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the creative services function.
  • Manage three senior direct reports and oversee the wider team.
  • Shape and communicate the brand's creative vision.
  • Ensure creative work is consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Improve team structures, processes and ways of working.
  • Oversee the delivery of campaigns and creative projects.
  • Balance creative ambition with commercial objectives.
  • Build a collaborative, accountable and high-performing culture.
  • Coach and develop managers and their teams.
  • Manage priorities, deadlines and budgets effectively.

About You:

You will be an experienced creative leader with a strong background in brand, creative services or integrated marketing. You will bring:

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing managers.
  • Strong knowledge of brand, content, PR, retail marketing and production.
  • The ability to set a clear creative vision and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A commercially focused and collaborative approach.
  • The confidence to work with significant autonomy.
  • An approachable, energetic and low-ego leadership style.
  • Experience within fashion, retail, lifestyle or another consumer-facing brand would be advantageous.

The Culture:

The business has an energetic, sociable and non-corporate culture. The team is close-knit, collaborative and committed to producing excellent work. They work hard when deadlines require it but also value the social side of the team, including live events, regular activities and drinks together. This position would suit someone who enjoys being visible, engaged and hands-on with their team.

Why Apply?

  • Significant creative freedom and influence.
  • The opportunity to shape a key business function.
  • Leadership of a talented and established team.
  • A collaborative and sociable working environment.
  • Salary of circa £75,000, with some flexibility.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Fantastic company benefits.

To apply, please submit your CV and relevant portfolio or examples of your work. All applications and initial conversations will be treated confidentially.
