We are looking for an experienced Senior Centric PLM Solution Lead to join a major digital transformation programme within the fashion and retail sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior PLM professional with deep Centric PLM expertise to play a key role in a high-profile transformation programme. You will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, helping define the future PLM landscape and driving best practice across the complete product lifecycle.

The Role

As the Senior Centric PLM Solution Lead, you will act as a key functional and solution authority for the programme. You will lead workshops, understand business requirements, identify gaps within the existing PLM environment and translate requirements into scalable Centric PLM solutions. You will work across product development, materials, BOM, costing, sourcing and supplier collaboration while supporting the wider integration and modernisation of the PLM ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities for the PLM Solution lead include:

  • Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Conduct detailed fit-gap analysis and define appropriate solution approaches.
  • Design and validate Centric PLM functional solutions.
  • Drive process standardisation and adoption of PLM best practices.
  • Produce functional specifications, requirements and user stories.
  • Support PLM integrations, data migration and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee testing, UAT and deployment activities.
  • Identify and manage programme risks, dependencies and solution issues.
  • Provide strategic PLM guidance to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Act as the senior Centric PLM subject matter expert across the programme.

Essential Experience

  • 10+ years' experience within PLM, including at least 5 years of hands-on Centric PLM implementation experience.
  • Strong experience within fashion, apparel or retail environments.
  • Proven involvement in major PLM transformation, re-implementation or modernisation programmes.
  • Deep understanding of Product Development, Materials, BOM, Costing, Sourcing and Supplier Collaboration.
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis and solution design.
  • Ability to work independently with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Understanding of PLM integrations, data migration and reporting.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Centric PLM certification or formal Centric product training.
  • Large-scale fashion or retail PLM transformation programmes.
  • PLM re-implementation and process-modernisation projects.
  • Integration of PLM with ERP, PIM, DAM and eCommerce platforms.
