This is an exciting opportunity to influence enterprise architecture across underwriting, claims, finance, delegated authority, and operational data flows.

Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will help deliver secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions that support strategic change while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations
What You'll Do
As our Senior Bureau Messaging Integration Architect, you will:
Define and maintain the target architecture for bureau messaging and external market integrations.

Design end-to-end integration solutions spanning underwriting, claims, finance, delegated authority, bordereaux, and reporting processes.

Establish and govern integration standards, architectural patterns, and design principles across the enterprise.

Provide architectural leadership, design assurance, and technical governance across key programmes and projects.

Enable seamless connectivity with London Market and Lloyd's platforms, bureaus, brokers, coverholders, and third-party service providers.

Design robust solutions for message routing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.

Embed security, resilience, operational support, monitoring, and audit requirements into all integration designs.

Collaborate with business, delivery, data, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams to translate complex business requirements into practical architecture solutions.

Drive simplification of the integration landscape by promoting reusable services, reducing technical debt, and improving operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring
8+ years' experience in Integration Architecture or Solution Architecture.
8+ years' experience within the London Market, Lloyd's, or Specialty Insurance sector.

Proven experience designing integrations between core insurance platforms and external market participants or bureau platforms.

Strong knowledge of modern integration patterns, including API-led, message-based, event-driven, batch, and file-based integration.

Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and exception management.

Strong understanding of security, resilience, governance, and compliance requirements for enterprise integrations.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

Experience with ACORD standards and London Market messaging or bordereaux processes.

Knowledge of delegated authority operations and the Lloyd's ecosystem.

Hands-on experience with technologies such as Azure Integration Services, Mule Soft, Boomi, IBM MQ, Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and managed file transfer solutions.

Experience designing cloud-native and hybrid integration architectures.

Knowledge of TOGAF or a comparable enterprise architecture framework.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience
