SENCO applicants must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A recognised SENCO qualification (NASENCO) or working towards it is desirable
Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND within a secondary setting is essential
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCPs and safeguarding procedures is required
SENCO candidates should demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
