I'm currently recruiting for a growing and highly respected electronic security business looking to appoint an experienced Security Business Development Manager to drive continued expansion across London and the surrounding counties. The Role
- You'll be responsible for identifying and winning new business opportunities across London and the Home Counties, developing long-term relationships and helping grow the company's presence within the commercial security market.
- Projects are predominantly focused around Access Control and CCTV, working across high-end commercial buildings, premium residential developments, hospitality and specialist security environments.
- You'll have the backing of an experienced technical and operational team, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best: building relationships and winning business.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities across London and the surrounding counties
- Selling Access Control and CCTV solutions to new and existing clients
- Building long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, facilities managers and end users
- Pricing and preparing quotations for new projects
- Meeting clients on-site and presenting security solutions
- Attending networking events and developing new business opportunities
- Working closely with the delivery team to ensure projects run smoothly from enquiry through to completion
What They're Looking For
- Proven Business Development experience within the electronic security industry
- Strong knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems
- Existing industry contacts and relationships would be highly advantageous
- Commercial awareness with the ability to price and negotiate projects confidently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Industry knowledge is essential, and this role would suit somebody who understands the security market and enjoys building long-term customer relationships rather than simply chasing sales targets
