The role of the Sales Director Fire & Security Systems will involve:

  • Commercially focussed Sales Director position, focussed on leading sales, business development and strategic growth
  • Field sales role predominantly selling specialist security solutions (80% CCTV focussed, 20% fire alarms, intruder alarms and access control)
  • Front line selling, initially only responsible for one BDM and one bid/ tender support person
  • Heavyweight role, going after £100,000+ projects and targeted to achieve £500,000 per month once established in role
  • Remit to grow a UK field sales team around you
  • This role will form part of the senior leadership team
  • Develop sales strategy, our client historically is strong in logistics, but extensive contacts and experience in numerous other sectors will be considered e.g. distribution, manufacturing, government, MOD, MOJ, education, solar farms, healthcare, local authorities etc.
  • Our client is partnered with leading manufacturers such as; Avigilon and Hanwha CCTV, Gent Fire Alarms, Paxton and Gallagher Access Control and Galaxy Intruder Alarms
  • Niche offering as our client provides a full turn-key fire & security system
  • Leads provided from partnered manufacturers, plus a dormant list of customers as well as Glenigan or Barber ABI can be provided
  • Ideally utilising your own network of contacts

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Director Fire & Security Systems with:

  • C-suite level background
  • Ideally 5 years experience in a senior sales leadership role, but this can be flexible for the right person
  • Must have extensive experience and contacts within at least one customer target sector
  • Proven track record within either fire, security, electronic security, access control, CCTV or associated products
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiating skills
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and major tenders
  • New business hunter
  • Exceptional leader/ mentor
  • Comfortable promoting a full turn-key security solution
