The Consultant will deliver expert implementation, configuration, and support services for customers using Sage X3, focusing on distribution and manufacturing verticals.
This role is responsible for understanding customers business processes, translating them into system solutions, and ensuring successful adoption and optimisation of the ERP platform.
The role contributes to the companys goal of delivering high-quality, value-driven consulting services that enhance customer efficiency and satisfaction.
Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, understand business processes, and define the scope of Sage X3 implementations.
Translate business requirements into solution designs and lead the configuration of Sage X3 modules to meet agreed specifications.
Collaborate with the development team to manage customisations, integrations, enhancements, and resolution of software issues.
Lead system testing activities, including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data migration validation.
Support solution deployment, ensuring deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Act as the primary customer contact throughout implementation, providing expert guidance, managing expectations, and resolving issues.
Deliver end-user training, documentation, and structured knowledge transfer to ensure effective system adoption.
Provide post-go-live support, including optimisation, issue resolution, and system updates.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sage X3 functionality, industry developments, and relevant technologies.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience Proven hands-on experience implementing and configuring Sage X3, particularly across distribution vertical (minimum 3 years).
Demonstrable experience in business process analysis and solution design.
Ability to configure Sage X3 modules and understand system integrations and reporting capabilities.
Experience delivering ERP or software projects within structured methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2 or similar).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience delivering end-user training and supporting change adoption.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative/project tools Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
