Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Apartments Engineer to join their engineering team within a high-end luxury residential development in London.

Working within a premium residential environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining a range of specialist building services systems while providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants within the apartments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the luxury apartments.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across a range of electrical and mechanical building services.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CIUs, HIUs, lighting control systems, underfloor heating systems, and BMS systems.
  • Ensure all apartment engineering systems are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests and provide a professional, customer-focused service.
  • Liaise directly with residents and tenants to understand issues and communicate repair requirements.
  • Complete accurate maintenance records and report any defects or ongoing issues.
  • Carry out routine inspections and identify potential faults before they develop into larger issues.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant health & safety procedures.
  • Support the wider engineering and facilities team where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Resident Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Multi-Skilled Engineer.
  • Strong electrical or mechanical engineering background.
  • Experience working with CIUs, HIUs, lighting control systems, underfloor heating systems, and BMS systems.
  • Previous experience within a high-end residential, luxury, commercial, or client-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and confident when dealing directly with tenants and residents.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied maintenance workload.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
