Resales & Staircasing Officer London- Hybrid 3 days in the office 2 days working from home 3 months initially with potential to be extended £23.57 per hour PAYE, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our client a large housing association is looking for an experienced Resales & Staircasing Officer to manage a caseload of shared ownership resales, staircasing transactions and ad hoc empty property disposals.
The role will provide a customer-focused service to existing and prospective homeowners, guiding customers through the full transaction process from instruction through to legal completion.
Key responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of resales, staircasing and void property disposals.
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout transactions.
Ensure cases are progressed efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed targets.
Liaise with solicitors, agents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer outcomes.
Support continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.
Essential experience: Residential conveyancing experience.
Strong customer service and case management background.
Experience managing a high-volume workload and meeting deadlines/KPIs.
Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Good Microsoft Office skills and strong attention to detail.
Desirable: Shared ownership resales and staircasing experience.
Housing sector knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
Experience working with legal advisers and external partners.
Ideal for candidates with conveyancing, housing sales or shared ownership experience who can quickly manage a busy caseload and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
