This well-established Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the London Borough of Southwark is seeking a resilient and dedicated PRU Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. The provision supports students who have experienced barriers to mainstream education, providing a structured and supportive environment where young people are encouraged to re-engage with learning, develop positive behaviours, and achieve meaningful outcomes.

The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects to KS3 and KS4 students
- Adapt teaching to meet a variety of academic, behavioural, and emotional needs

What the School is Looking For
The ideal PRU Teacher will hold QTS, although applications are welcomed from experienced unqualified teachers, instructors, and alternative provision practitioners. Previous experience within a PRU, SEMH school, Alternative Provision, or working with students displaying challenging behaviour would be highly advantageous. The school is seeking a calm, consistent, and relationship-focused practitioner who can maintain high expectations, establish clear boundaries, and inspire students who may have become disengaged from education.
