Your New Role...

CNN is seeking a creative and motivated Features Video Producer to join the team. This role is suited to a storyteller with strong editorial judgement, refined visual awareness and experience producing engaging features content. You will contribute to impactful storytelling across digital platforms in a fast-paced news environment, taking ideas from concept through to delivery. If you are excited about shaping compelling visual narratives and working across global teams, we encourage you to apply.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Develop original story ideas and translate them into engaging visual narratives, including creating new and ongoing digital series.
  • Create content designed for social-first platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Conduct thorough pre-production planning, including reporting, scripting, booking and logistics.
  • Produce shoots in the field or studio, directing crew and talent to capture high-quality footage; the ability to shoot is preferred.
  • Edit or supervise the editing of video content, ensuring strong storytelling, pacing and visual cohesion.
  • Collaborate with reporters and editors to refine stories and deliver high-quality output.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and provide solutions that meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Extensive video journalism experience at a major news organisation or production company.
  • Experience producing content across topics such as music, culture, lifestyle, travel, science and/or entertainment.
  • Proficiency in story development and pre-production, including scripting, storyboarding and interview planning.
  • Experience producing digital-first, social or multi-platform video content with a strong sense of visual style.
  • Proficiency in editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere) and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; motion graphics experience is beneficial.

#CCEHybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
