Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the specialist Private Client & Trust Services team, overseeing workflow, WIP, billing, recoveries, and performance appraisals.

Deliver high-level advisory solutions covering Trusts, Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), offshore structures, and international tax matters.

Oversee and lead the Personal and Trust Tax compliance framework, maintaining overall review and sign-off authority for complex returns.

Ensure full departmental compliance across 60-day CGT Returns, the Trust Registration Service (TRS), Trust IHT Returns, and CRS reporting.

Act as a senior point of contact for HMRC, external professional advisers, and high-net-worth clients, managing complex tax risks proactively.

Drive business development initiatives, networking, and technical content generation to support regional market growth.

As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager you will:
Utilize specialist tax and accountancy software (such as CCH or Digita) to manage department compliance and reporting efficiently.

Maintain an individual personal chargeability target of 70% utilisation.

Target and maintain 80% recovery on compliance engagements and 100% recovery on high-value advisory projects.

Work directly alongside Partners to shape long-term business development, talent retention, and team recruitment strategy.

Identify cross-selling opportunities across wider service lines including corporate tax, wealth management, and technology transformation.
