My client based near St Ives, Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for a PCB Assembly Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
£26,000 | Permanent | 39 hours per week | Own Transport Required
An excellent opportunity for a PCB Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team, assembling high-quality PCB and box-build products.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble PCB and electronic components using hand and power tools
- Carry out soldering, cropping, de-paneling and minor rework
- Inspect components and finished assemblies to high-quality standards
- Read drawings, job packs, parts lists and technical specifications
- Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation
- Work to production schedules and deadlines
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow ESD, health & safety and QMS procedures
- Support colleagues and assist with training where required
- Identify quality and efficiency improvements
What we're looking for:
- Good knowledge of electronic components
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work accurately to high-quality standards
- Ability to read and understand technical information
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Computer literate
- Reliable team player with a proactive approach
- Previous PCB/electronics assembly experience would be advantageous
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:15pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
