Are you an experienced Paint Technician looking to join a growing and innovative manufacturer? We are recruiting for a skilled Paint Technician to become part of a busy production team in Marlow. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of products and components to the highest quality standards, playing a key part in the manufacturing process.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing components and products for painting, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning
- Inspecting surfaces and identifying defects that require rectification
- Mixing and applying primers, paints, and coatings to specification
- Operating spray painting equipment to achieve high-quality finishes
- Using hand and power tools to meet finish and quality standards
- Ensuring components are correctly masked and protected throughout the paint process
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working to production schedules while maintaining quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer, Spray Painter, Paint Prepper, or in a similar manufacturing environment
- Experience preparing and painting metal, composite, or automotive components
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including sanding, masking, filling, and finishing
- Experience using spray painting equipment and mixing paints to specification
- The ability to follow technical instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
