Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint coatings to components and structures.
- Achieve high-quality finishes in line with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect surfaces before and after painting to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings to achieve the required colour, finish, and consistency.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and detailed work instructions.
- Maintain spray booths, equipment, and tools to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, ideally within aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience using paint spray guns and associated coating application equipment.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of different paint systems, coatings, and application techniques.
