Key Responsibilities of an OT Consultant:
- Deliver Operational Technology and Industrial Cyber Security consulting services
- Support clients in identifying and mitigating cyber security risks across OT environments
- Assess and improve the security of industrial control systems and operational networks
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technology and security challenges
- Support cyber security strategy, governance and compliance initiatives
- Help organisations improve operational resilience and security maturity
- Contribute to client-facing engagements and solution design activities
- Work across a variety of OT technologies and critical infrastructure environments
What We're Looking For in an OT Consultant:
- Experience working with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- Knowledge of technologies such as SCADA, PLCs, RTUs and Distributed Control Systems
- Understanding of Industrial Cyber Security, OT risk management and security monitoring
- Experience working with IoT or Industrial IoT environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams
- Passion for solving complex cyber and operational challenges
Desirable Experience for an OT Consultant:
- Experience within energy, utilities, oil & gas, transport, nuclear or other critical infrastructure sectors
- Knowledge of security frameworks including NIS, CAF, IEC 62443, NIST CSF or ISO 27001
- Experience with cyber security architecture or OT security assessments
- Relevant cyber security or operational technology certifications
