Within the consulting business in the UK, Atos Amplify, the Operational Excellence Team delivers on all aspects of our client's digital transformation journeys. As part of our growth strategy in the UK, we are looking to increase the capability and capacity of our team.
Our consultants are at the heart of driving Operational Excellence solutions forward and are responsible for delivering innovative engagements with real business impact. You will join a dynamic, multi-functional, and Management Consultancies Association (MCA) award-winning team that solves complex client issues across both the private and public sectors, with extensive training and support available.
About the Role
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Consultant with hands-on experience, who has a management consultancy background, working on complex business problems, ideally within a technology context. You should have the desire to be part of an organisation that develops and delivers innovative solutions to private and public-sector clients. You should have experience in how organisations are responding to the digital and AI agenda, and what this means for people, their roles and job transformation.
Location: Onsite (hybrid working across client site, Atos offices & remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory: Experience of advising clients on how to improve their business' operations, including cost reduction and automation.
- Project Leadership: Lead consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are achieved.
- Business Analysis & Business Process Mapping: Work with client stakeholders to understand, document, diagnose and transform their business processes and functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
- Project Management: Training in / experience of project management tools and techniques.
- Client Engagement: Work autonomously with clients to understand their needs, develop tailored engagement strategies, and ensure successful implementation.
- Team Development: Experience of developing teams to deliver consulting assignments for clients.
- Business Development: Experience of contributing to the sale of work or extension of contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area.
- Experience in the Consulting sector and in roles supporting or operational change.
- Experience with collaboration tools and digital platforms (such as Microsoft, SAP, ServiceNow and Salesforce).
- Ability and willingness to rapidly develop skills while operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Analysis certification.

- Strong leading consultancy background: including on business analysis engagements.
- UK mobility with regular client site engagement.
- Security clearance (SC / BPSS), or eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance.
