Key Responsibilities of an Operational Cyber Software Engineer Design, develop and maintain secure, high-assurance software solutions
Deliver robust applications using modern development methodologies and best practices
Integrate security considerations throughout the software development lifecycle
Conduct peer reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
Support testing, documentation and continuous integration activities
Identify security risks and vulnerabilities within software solutions
Work across a variety of technologies, platforms and operating systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges
What We're Looking For in an Operational Cyber Software Engineer Experience with software development tools and practices, including source control, testing and CI/CD
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++, Java or C#
Experience with scripting or utility languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or Perl
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and computing fundamentals
Experience working across multiple operating systems
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience leading technical tasks or mentoring team members is advantageous
An interest in cybersecurity and secure software development
