Night Shift Maintenance Engineer
Central London | 4 on, 4 off (Nights Only) | £50,000 + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at one of London's most iconic and busiest tourist attractions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique, fast-paced environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a world-class visitor destination.
The Role
Working a 4 on, 4 off permanent night shift pattern, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to reactive maintenance issues, and ensuring all plant and equipment remains fully operational before the site reopens each day.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and electrical systems.
Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
Complete maintenance records using a CMMS.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory regulations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site reliability and performance.
About You
Qualified engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) with a recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Experience within facilities management, commercial buildings, hospitality, attractions, or similar environments.
Multi-skilled engineers are highly desirable.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently during night shifts.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
