Cisco Pre-Sales Consultant
Remote, UK based | Up to Β£95,000 plus benefits
Fully remote, with customer visits and vendor training .
SC Clearance - eligable, not required to start.
A fast-growing, award-winning UK cloud and managed services provider is looking for a Cisco Pre-Sales Consultant to join its Secure Infrastructure design authority.
This is a senior, customer-facing role. You will own the technical relationship across a base of Cisco and Meraki customers, shape their strategic roadmap, and make sure every project is designed with the longer-term business and security objectives in mind. It is consultative and strategic, not pure delivery.
What you will be doing:
Leading customer workshops, whiteboard sessions and discovery to define current and future requirements.
Designing secure networking solutions across the Cisco and Meraki portfolio, and producing the solution options and validation papers that shape the work.
Owning multi-year infrastructure roadmaps and acting as the security authority, aligning designs to frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO27001 and NIS2.
Working directly with the vendor on solution and commercial development.
Building automation to enhance the managed service, using Python, Ansible, Terraform and Cisco/Meraki APIs.
What you will bring:
A consultative, pre-sales or design-authority background across Cisco enterprise and Meraki.
Strong Cisco enterprise and security experience: Catalyst, Nexus, ISE, FTD, ACI, DNA Center, plus the Meraki stack.
CCNP Security is essential for this role.
Genuine depth in the security overlay: securing access, traffic and services, not just network access control.
An appetite for automation and AI-ready design. Training is provided across certifications, Python and Ansible.
Why this role:
Fully remote, with genuine investment in your development across Cisco and Meraki certifications and wider disciplines such as TOGAF and CISSP.
The chance to help shape a growing secure networking practice, working with some of the most secure and critical organisations in the UK.
This role supports secure networking customers, so applicants must be eligible for SC clearance.
