The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Door Engineer with strong experience in at least two of the following disciplines:
- Automatic Doors
- Industrial Doors & Roller Shutters
- Gates & Barriers
You'll be responsible for carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding, repair and installation of a variety of entrance systems across London and the surrounding areas. This is a varied field-based role offering excellent earning potential and the opportunity to broaden your technical skillset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, repair and install a range of automatic doors, industrial doors, roller shutters, gates and barriers.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete installations and commissioning work where required.
- Accurately complete service reports and compliance paperwork.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service.
- Participate in the company's on-call rota.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in at least two of the following sectors: Automatic Doors, Industrial Doors / Roller Shutters, Gates & Barriers
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience carrying out service, maintenance, repair and installation work.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience across all three disciplines would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
