JOB OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced adviser who wants to focus on writing business while benefiting from genuine support with leads, marketing, admin and business growth.

As a Mortgage and Protection Advisor you will join an established appointed representative within a respected mortgage and protection network, with infrastructure designed to support your success. The Mortgage and Protection Advisor will receive genuine lead support, one-to-one marketing strategy, dedicated administration support, coaching, training and access to modern technology to help streamline day-to-day activity.

Working remotely across the UK, the Mortgage and Protection Advisor will advise clients, build trusted relationships and develop opportunities across mortgages, protection and, where appropriate, wider product areas.

DUTIES

  • Client Advice: Provide professional mortgage and protection advice to clients, helping them understand suitable options based on their needs and circumstances.
  • Case Management: Manage client cases efficiently from enquiry through to submission, supported by dedicated administration and case-packaging support.
  • Lead Follow-Up: Engage with genuine leads and build trusted client relationships through clear communication and first-rate service.
  • Market Knowledge: Use strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market, lender criteria and protection products to support suitable recommendations.
  • Business Growth: Work with one-to-one marketing and coaching support to develop your profile, grow your presence and identify new opportunities.
  • Systems Use: Use mortgage sourcing systems, CRM platforms and modern technology tools to manage activity and streamline day-to-day work.
  • Product Development: Explore opportunities to diversify into alternative product areas such as later life lending, business protection, bridging and commercial finance, with support provided.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a mortgage and protection adviser or mortgage adviser in the UK.
  • CeMAP or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Competent Advisor Status is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lender criteria.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to grow, expand and deliver first-rate advice.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases at the same time.
  • Confidence using mortgage sourcing systems and CRM platforms.
