We are working exclusively with a leading fashion supplier to major UK and European high street retailers for an experienced Menswear Denim Designer to join their established design team on a maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and trend-focused designer with a genuine passion for denim.
Working across key retail accounts, you will be responsible for creating innovative yet commercially viable menswear denim collections, from initial concept through to final product.
Based in Central London, you will join a collaborative and creative team with strong industry expertise and an excellent reputation within the market.

Main
Responsibilities
Will
Include: Conducting ongoing trend research, competitor analysis, and market shopping to identify new opportunities within menswear denim.
Designing trend-led, commercial denim collections in line with customer briefs and retailer requirements.
Developing innovative washes, fits, fabrications, and product concepts across the menswear denim category.
Creating detailed CADs, technical drawings, and presentation boards for customer meetings.
Producing accurate technical packs to support the product development and sampling process.
Working closely with overseas factories and suppliers throughout the development cycle.
Managing product development from concept through to sample approval.
Presenting ranges and design concepts confidently to customers and internal stakeholders.
Building strong relationships with buyers and development teams to ensure products meet commercial and aesthetic objectives.

Specification: Previous experience within a Menswear Denim Designer role.
Strong understanding of denim product development, washes, fabrics, fits, and construction techniques.
Commercially focused with the ability to interpret trends into successful product ranges.
Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proactive, creative, and enthusiastic, with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.
