Martech Solutions Architect 6 Month Contract | £750-£800 Inside IR35 | Hybrid 1-2 days in Chesterfield then remote Morson Edge have partnered with a leading UK retailer undergoing a significant digital and customer transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Martech Solutions Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of its marketing technology landscape.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme where you'll define the architecture that underpins customer engagement, personalisation and data-driven marketing across multiple digital channels.
Working closely with Marketing, Digital, Data and Technology teams, you'll ensure the organisation's Martech ecosystem is scalable, secure and aligned with long-term business strategy.
The Role As the Martech Solutions Architect, you'll lead the design and governance of enterprise-scale marketing technology solutions, enabling seamless omnichannel customer experiences and supporting the delivery of innovative marketing capabilities.
You'll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across CRM, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), marketing automation, analytics and digital experience platforms, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end Martech architecture supporting customer acquisition, engagement, retention and loyalty.
Define target-state architecture and technology roadmaps across the marketing technology estate.
Produce high-level solution designs covering applications, integrations, APIs, customer journeys and data flows.
Architect customer data solutions that enable a single customer view and real-time personalisation.
Lead solution design across CRM, CDPs, marketing automation, customer experience and analytics platforms.
Define scalable integration patterns using API-led and event-driven architectures.
Support vendor selection, technology evaluations and platform optimisation.
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Digital, Data and Technology stakeholders to shape future capabilities.
Ensure all solutions comply with architecture governance, GDPR, security and risk standards.
Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI and Gen AI technologies within the Martech landscape.
What We're Looking For We're keen to speak with experienced Solution or Enterprise Architects who have designed complex Martech ecosystems within large organisations.
You'll ideally have experience with: Marketing Technology architecture Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) CRM platforms Marketing Automation Customer Journey Orchestration Personalisation platforms Digital Experience Platforms API-led integration and event-driven architecture Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Agile product delivery environments Experience with modern Martech platforms such as: CRM and Customer Data Platforms (e. g.
Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce Data Cloud) Marketing Automation and Customer Engagement platforms (e. g.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimiser, Hub Spot, Braze) Personalisation and Digital Experience platforms (e. g.
Sitecore, Optimizely, Bloomreach) Analytics and Customer Insight tools (e. g.
Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI) Experience across similar enterprise Martech technologies is equally welcomed.
You'll Bring Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Digital Architecture or Martech Architecture.
Strong understanding of customer engagement platforms and modern marketing technology.
Experience designing enterprise-scale customer data and integration architectures.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business audiences.
Strong understanding of GDPR, consent management and information security.
A passion for innovation, customer experience and emerging AI-driven marketing capabilities.
