We have two, 12 month FTC Management Surveyor roles, which will provide additional operational capacity to the Property Management team during a project implementation over the next year. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role with a strong service charge, financial management and overall property operational management. The role holder will support service charge data readiness, budgeting and reconciliation activity, operational improvements and day-to-day management of the London Estate portfolio. The role will work closely with Property Management, Service Charge Accountancy, Finance and transformation project colleagues to help maintain operational performance.

The role holder should actively embrace and utilise artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to enhance service, improve operational efficiency, support data-driven decision making, and continuously identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage allocated property management activities across a designated portfolio.
  • Support service charge data collection, validation and cleansing activities.
  • Complete service charge budgeting and reconciliation tasks as directed.
  • Assist in reducing outstanding financial and operational backlogs.
  • Produce accurate operational and financial reports.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on operational matters.
  • Support compliance with Grosvenor policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with transformation project colleagues to resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate records within property management and financial systems.
  • Support transition, mobilisation and stabilisation activities following go-live.
  • Provide flexible support across Property Management workstreams as programme priorities evolve.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of managing commercial or mixed-use property portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of service charge budgeting and reconciliations.
  • Good financial and commercial awareness.
  • Experience of property management systems and data management.
  • Ability to embrace and utilise AI and emerging technologies.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of landlord and tenant matters and property management best practice.
  • MRICS, AssocRICS, MIRPM or equivalent professional qualification (Desired but not essential).
  • Experience within a large mixed-use estate environment (Desired but not essential).
