We're looking for a proactive and organised Logistics & Office Services Assistant to join a busy corporate office environment. This role is central to the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace, ensuring mail, deliveries, office supplies and courier services are managed efficiently while providing excellent customer service to employees across the business.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being active, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of operational support.
Key Responsibilities Receive, log and distribute incoming mail, parcels and deliveries across the office.
Prepare, process and dispatch outgoing mail and courier shipments using company systems and franking equipment.
Coordinate courier collections and passenger vehicle bookings, ensuring cost-effective solutions are used.
Deliver packages and confidential documents promptly throughout the building.
Support the distribution of company publications and printed materials.
Maintain stock levels of office stationery, tea points and logistics supplies, raising replenishment requests when required.
Ensure the mailroom and logistics areas remain secure, organised and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
Carry out regular housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Build positive relationships with internal employees and external courier providers.
Assist with general office logistics and provide ad hoc operational support as required.
Skills & Experience Previous experience within a mailroom, office services, facilities, logistics or workplace support environment.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and package tracking/logistics systems.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks within a busy office.
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
Comfortable with manual handling and moving parcels where required.
