My client is a well-established M&E engineering consultancy who are seeking a Lighting Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will involve working on a high-profile project within the London area. The client is looking for an experienced engineer with strong lighting design capability within building services, ideally with experience working across large-scale, complex developments.

Benefits

  • Rate of £400 - 450 a day outside IR35 (Depending on Experience)
  • Contract ongoing until September 2027
  • Weekly Payments

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing high-quality lighting design layouts
  • Carrying out lighting calculations and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g. DIALux / Relux)
  • Preparing technical drawings, reports, specifications and design documentation
  • Coordinating lighting designs with mechanical, electrical and architectural disciplines
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and wider design teams as required
