GBOedu's mission is to transform seller knowledge and capability development into an engaged advantage by building an adaptive, AI-infused learning and enablement ecosystem that delivers direct commercial value. Operating at the intersection of breakthrough digital ads products, holistic marketing strategies, and next-generation learning design, our product enablement teams don't just build training - we directly power commercial outcomes.
We design learning strategies and enablement programs that address real-world seller barriers, navigate search and media measurement dynamics, and empower Google's global salesforce to tie technical Search, AI, and Measurement solutions directly to customer Return on Investment (ROI).
As a Learning Design Specialist, you will be a consultative learning architect and a product enablement strategist supporting our Search and AI or Measurement product portfolios. Moving away from traditional, long-lead content creation processes, you will leverage AI-native content development workflows and tools to compress design cycles and build modular, globally scalable assets designed for rapid activation and regional/local customization.
In this role, you won't be taking orders or translating raw product documentation. You will act as a trusted peer and 'Functional Authority' to our Product Strategy and Operations (PS&O) and Global Product (GPL) teams. You will digest complex product strategies, technical features, and Go-To-Market (GTM) roadmaps from day one and co-create enablement blueprints that solve commercial friction, upskill our global sales teams, and drive adoption, implementation, and optimization across Google's core ad solutions.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or sales enablement in an agile, commercial-driven environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business leadership stakeholders.
- Experience with digital advertising, performance media, or digital marketing concepts, such as paid and organic search, bidding strategies, or return on investment (ROI) metrics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leveraging AI-native tools (e.g., Gemini, AI Studio, Vids, etc.) for research, scripting, asset generation, and workflow automation.
- Demonstrated experience navigating commercial realities and sales barriers within an ads environment (agency, platform, publisher, or client-side).
- Proficiency in low-code design, interactive media, or rapid video creation tools for engaging narrative delivery.
- Ability to act as a consultative peer to product and operations teams, distilling complex technical roadmaps into clear commercial narratives.
- Strong change management and stakeholder influence skills, with a track record of driving operational efficiency and adopting new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design learning solutions that address real-world seller friction, engaged market dynamics, and advanced digital marketing strategies beyond basic product features.
- Collaborate with Product Strategy and Operations and Global Product teams to digest technical roadmaps and co-create global/regional enablement programs without lengthy discovery cycles.
- Utilize advanced AI tools (Gemini Enterprise, AI Studio, Vids) to automate 60-80% of traditional design workflows, compressing build times from months into weeks.
- Develop standardized, modular learning components engineered for seamless global reuse, rapid adaptation, and agile local activation.
- Integrate AI-driven practice simulations into sales curricula, managing full project lifecycles and evaluation frameworks to accelerate operational adoption and commercial impact.
