Are you ready to take your Expert Witness career to the next level? Following a recent review an exciting opportunity has arisen to join ACGs Expert Witness Division as Lead Expert Witness, playing a pivotal role in shaping the growth, reputation and future direction of the service.

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday
  • Preferred: 37.5 hours per week
  • Applications are also welcomed from candidates able to work a minimum of 3 days (22.5 hours) per week
  • This is a remote-based role, with travel required to support service delivery, attend management meetings, and undertake other business-related activities as required.

About you:

  • The successful candidate will be an experienced Expert Witness.
  • Professionally qualified as a Social Worker, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Psychologist.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Structured and logical thinking style that is comfortable operating both at a detailed level and at a directional level.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in building therapeutic relationships quickly and has strong interpersonal skills with clients and professionals.
  • Confident working autonomously and also as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the capacity to co-ordinate others when working to deadlines.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply new learning to work situations.
  • IT literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult and at times, volatile situations.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
