Primary Responsibilities
- Working with key stakeholders globally to provide trading solutions
- Coordination, planning, and execution of changes across proprietary systems, vendor platforms and third-party components supporting the Fixed Income desk
- Demonstrating a strong focus on identifying and implementing process enhancements to optimise system performance and elevating user experience
- Providing deskside L3 ION/e-trading support (and remote where
appropriate) across Fixed Income including trading/sales desks, back-office and ION platform
- Providing L3 support to the production Fixed Income trade flow from execution on market to downstream systems, including BBG TOMS and back-office systems
- Liaising with other teams in supporting 'add-on' functionality & up/downstream process flows for the Fixed Income Trading Desk. (e.g. Trade flows, end of day position marking etc.)
- Systems configuration: Follow set procedures to configure supported applications according to approved functional requirements. These requirements may form part of the project implementation, or may be part of production support
- Maintenance of PRD & DR environment: Be responsible for the working state of PRD & DR environments, ensuring they are fit for use
Experience
- Extensive experience supporting a live ION Trading environment with live market connectivity for Rates, Credit or Swaps desks with access to trading venues such as MTS, Brokertec, , Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, iSwap, Tradition & EUREX.
- Strong experience providing technical support for Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank.
- Strong experience working with both project team & users.
- General understanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income & Rates.
- Strong trouble shooting experience within the ION environment
- Familiarity with Bloomberg TOMS for trade & position management
